As players, we should remember that the success of challenging the MAW is dependent on the following :
Aircraft Rating
Stats
Troop Formation
Heroes
Gaming Style ( F2P, Mid Spender, Spenders)
WARNING: Playing Joint Exercises will AFFECT things outside the MAW. If you port inside the MAW, ALL troops outside your settlement will AUTOMATICALLY return to your settlement. Setting PRESET Formations INSIDE the MAW will copy the heroes build OUTSIDE the MAW with ZERO (0) troops.
Upgrading components enhance the stats of respective troops. These stats are permanent. The higher the level of your components, the more stats benefits you can get as well as the higher the % of your aircraft skills at the same time.
Every level upgrade will add Star Points. These Star Points unlock other unlocked components or skills of the Aircraft.
To upgrade the star levels, all components will need to reach ten levels each. It means, it can only be upgraded to the next star if ALL components reach Level 10,20,30,40,50 AT the SAME time.
To unlock Tactical Supplies Skill, it requires 800 Star Points.
Aircraft upgrades also provide extra bonuses when challenging the MAW or during JOINT Exercises.
Upgrading the aircraft will also unlock special skills that can be used during rallies or defence.
AIRCRAFT USAGE.
RALLIES
Rallies can use (1) Rally Enhancement, Two (2) Tactical Supplies, and Three (3) Protective Paint. The stats are provided by the skills stacked
Rally Leader will adapt Rally Enhancement Skills. Two Joiners can use Tactical Supplies and Three(3) Joiners can use Protective Paint.
DEFENSE
Skills need to be manually added or switch to activate.
The wounded stats are accumulated stats from 3 (Protective Paint Skill) Rally Joiners. Rally Attack Amplification is a stacked stats of Rally Enhancement (Leader) and Tactical Supplies (2). This report is from rallying a settlement.
JOINT EXERCISES
This is pretty similar to MAW but is ATTACHED with aircraft upgrading. Lower levels will be easy but to clear higher levels, the player needs to upgrade the aircraft. Aside from that, the player also needs a fast hand, fast internet, a little strategy and probably a lot of PATIENCE. Also, this event is CONNECTED to your Aircraft Upgrade. In short, no matter how strong your account, there is only a limited level you can clear unless you upgrade your aircraft. Level 24+ will require a Star 2 Aircraft minimum.
Marches to the MAW, Proliferating Infected and others is fixed for 5 seconds regardless of location you port in the map.
Once caught in vines, march in clearing them will require 15 seconds.
Challenge timer: 1:30 minutes including the conversations of the heroes.
March Slots : 2
Event will use Plasma 8 , T11 Troops (300K) regardless of HQ LEVEL.
HOW TO PLAY THE CHALLENGE
1. Tap quick once it opens (normally sarge/Maddie blabber there) while they talk, the timer ticks.
2. Send two marches AT THE SAME TIME. Once it lands, jump. (Saves 5 seconds for return)
March round: 2-4-6-8 jump ( relocator refills every 15 seconds)
3. Wait for the infected to march FIRST before jumping.
4. Once the Sarge message comes out, jump. Stay away from the vines.
5. Do not bother hitting the Infected.
6. Set your formations and heroes.
7. Settlement Buffs work but there is only a minimal DMG boost. Do not bother
8. If you cannot clear a challenge, You can leave it for a day or two. Difficulty drops 2% daily for the first month.
To maximize your gameplay, you can set preset formations. To do this, once you clear a blue level, go back to that challenge and set formations. You can test different hero sets and troop formation that is suitable for your account build.
HOW TO DO RAID
HEROES AND TROOP FORMATION
Players will get a free raid ticket daily ( see Orange box). These tickets stacks.
Players will get a daily FREE Raid Ticket. Do not get confused as this isn’t the same as Underground gameplay. There is only one (1) chance to raid a previously cleared colour blue level. This chance NEVER stack. Make it a habit to check for the blue with the MOST reward drop and use raid on it firstly after reset.
HOW TO SET RALLIES
Rally Leaders DEFAULT skill is Rally Enhancement.
Joiners can add Two (Tactical Supplies) and three (3) Protective Paint. Skills need to be manually changed before sending a march.
Once the march is sent out, skill cant be exchange.
LEVELS
GREY LEVELS
These are the easiest level to beat. However, these once locked can’t be re-challenged.
BLUE LEVELS
Blue ones are a little harder to beat. These levels can be used for raids.
RED LEVELS
These levels are called EMERGENCY LEVELS. There is a countdown on when this is going to be neutralized.
WHY IT IS HARD TO BEAT LEVELS?
General stats, even talent setups, heroes, and troop formation are the based factors in beating levels but so are the special bonuses provided by the aircraft.
